REGISTER YOUR LME COMPANY
Open your browser and go to: https://liftsafe.co.za/register
Company name — your registered LME company name
ECSA LME number — your DOL/ECSA registration number (printed on your LME certificate)
Your name + email + password — this becomes the Super Admin account
Estimated inspectors & admins — used for your trial quote only
Click Register → check your email → click the confirmation link. Your 20-day free trial activates immediately. No card required.

LOG IN TO YOUR WEB DASHBOARD
After confirming your email you will be directed to: https://liftsafe.co.za/dashboard
Go to Company — upload your logo and fill in your letterhead details. These print on every Certificate of Fitness.
Upload your company stamp image (used on CoFs).
The dashboard is your admin hub — job overview, certificate management, inspector roster, client directory, compliance reports, and document vault.

ADD YOUR CLIENTS & SITES
Dashboard → Clients → Add Client
Client = the end-user company that owns the equipment (mine, factory, warehouse, etc.)
Add one or more Sites per client — site name, location, type
Sites are listed on every certificate and job card
You can add clients before or after inviting inspectors — the order doesn't matter.

INSTALL THE MOBILE APP (ANDROID)
The mobile app is not publicly downloadable. After your team is set up, open Inspectors → Team in the admin dashboard and use Send app link to email a secure, time-limited install link to each active inspector — no Play Store required.
Open the secure link from the email on the Android tablet or phone
If prompted: Settings → Security → Allow from this source
Install and open LiftSafe
Log in with the same email and password used during registration
The app works offline in mines, underground, and Faraday cages. Inspections queue locally and sync when signal returns.

INVITE YOUR FIELD TEAM
From the mobile app: Tap your name (top-left) → Profile → Admin → ADD INSPECTOR From the web dashboard: Inspectors → Invite Inspector
Each person receives an email with a link to set their own password. They then log in on the mobile app.

Signs Certificates of Fitness. Performs periodic, exceptional and major inspections. ECSA-registered required.
Tap INSPECTIONS → select equipment type → fill the SANS form
LMI signs on tablet. Certificate of Fitness is generated on-device.
Failed units: WhatsApp + email alert fires automatically before team leaves site
Close job → end-of-day sheet with client signature
To scan or photograph serial numbers at the plant: Equipment → Search → tap SCAN. Point at the barcode/QR tag, or switch to PHOTO PLATE and photograph the nameplate — the serial is extracted automatically.

OPTIONAL — GIVE CLIENTS THEIR OWN ACCESS
Dashboard → Clients → select client → Invite Client User
The client's safety officer, planner, or foreman logs into the same app (or web portal) with a Client Portal role.
They see real-time traffic light status for all their equipment
They can log pre-use and shift checks (SANS-prescribed)
They can access the DMR 18(7) equipment register on their phone
They cannot see your LME inspection forms or job cards
